New Features for the Embee Mobile Wallet – 4. November, 2009

Well, we’ve been hard at work to get some new features together for the Embee Mobile Wallet.

We have put in some new features to make this easier and more fun to use.

You can now more easily add Embee Mobile to your profile, and share stories about how you get free mobile phone services to your friends
You can now manage multiple phone accounts, add new phone numbers and change carriers, any time you like.

We have also simplified the user interface — less text!

Competing Visions from San Diego – 15. October, 2009

San Diego USS Midway

Embee Mobile jetted to SoCal last week for the CTIA Conference in San Diego. It was a great opportunity to do business, and to hear from industry leaders their views on the future of wireless services. Bottom line – mobile is a great place to be, but there are still competing visions of where we are headed.

How To Pick The Right Virtual Gift? – 28. May, 2009

The first time I received a digital cupcake on my birthday, I was somewhat perplexed. Thanks..but what’s the point, I thought. A year later, it’s now a $35m industry on Facebook, and I still don’t have my head wrapped around virtual gifts. Back in Feb, the WSJ ran an interesting article titled Why do People Buy Virtual Goods? Apparently, the reasons behind digital gift-giving are much the same (and as abstract, if I may add) as with real goods.
